About The ACT Agency

The ACT Agency was founded in 2017 under the name Tambour Music Management as a division of the ACT label. Its core business is to create artistic concepts, develop the careers of musicians and design unique live formats. On this basis, more than 400 concerts a year are produced throughout Europe - from renowned clubs to all important festivals to the largest concert halls. Thereby a large emphasis lies on own concert formats and productions.

The international roster of the agency consists equally of ACT artists and artists outside the label. The main focus is on artists with a connection to classical music and jazz, strongly connected with the vision of combining these worlds and expanding them to include other influences.

The founder and managing director of The ACT Agency is Andreas Brandis who initially was active as a musician and composer for a decade, followed by more than 15 years in high-ranking positions at labels such as Universal, ECM and Deutsche Grammophon. Since 2015, Andreas Brandis has been senior managing director of ACT. He also directs the Alfred Toepfer Foundation's renowned Concerto21 summer academy, which supports emerging artists in classical, jazz and their borderline fields in their artistic and professional development. The ACT Agency team is headed by Patrick Weißenfels (Head of Artists & Concerts) in close cooperation with Jolanda Vujasinovic (Senior Artist- & Concert Manager) - both with more than 10 years of experience in the international live business.
